The boys of Bond are back again with an all new THRILLING episode of Her Majesty’s Secret Podcast! That’s right, the show that talks about all things James Bond, 007.

This week, Ziggy & Eric talk about Thrilling Cities! Both the book of that title written by Ian Fleming, and thrilling cities that Bond has visited in the films.

The pair will talk about Fleming’s ‘travelogue’, and what we actually learned about each of the cities he visits. Our impressions of Ian’s own mindset about each locale, and more!

We also give our own top 10 list of the MOST thrilling cities James Bond has visited in the movies. As usual there is questioning of judgement and sideways looks aplenty!

Guys….. guys…. You know I am a big fan of the show but you really dropped the ball on this one. Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion but there can be only one ‘Most thrilling city that James Bond visited in the movies’. I am talking about, of course, Amsterdam! A metropolis of art, style, energy and the birthplace of some great people. I can only assume that it was a slight oversight from your side to omit the obvious winner in this category. Maybe you just haven’t Amsterdam yet*

By the way, congratulations on the Giants WS win. It was a great series and well worth the loss of sleep. Too bad next year will be another losing season but in 2016 there will again be a pennant and WS win in SF.

*Just to make sure, irony isn’t easily conveyed through written text, but I am joking of course.

Well played, Tijl; well played. 😉

And as it so happens, I have not been to Amsterdam yet. I hope to have the budget to hop the pond and correct that at some point. 🙂

    Happy Holidays, sir!

    – Ziggy
