The guys are back again for an all new episode of Her Majesty’s Secret Podcast!

This week, Ziggy & Eric are exploring the literary world of James Bond post-Fleming. Specifically, we’re looking at three novels which were written as direct sequels to original Fleming works. These books span from the very first Bond novel penned after Fleming’s passing, all the way to the most recent 007 novel released!

We go in depth to talk about; Robert Markham’s (Kingsley Amis) ‘Colonel Sun’, Sebastian Faulks’ ‘Devil May Care’, and Anthony Horowitz’s ‘Trigger Mortis’.

We talk about the villains, the plots, the girls, the writing and much more!

We of course want to hear from YOU! Let us know what you thought of these novels, and our take on them. Please drop us a line via the comments section below, or visit us on Facebook, or you can follow us like stalkers on Twitter.

The UK Waterstones edition of Trigger does include a copy of the original Flemming story as an extra.

Really? That’s awesome… We’ll have to get a hold of a copy of that version and take a look. Thanks for the information, and thanks for listening!
